WFN is leveling up!

In the last few months WFN has doubled in size by adding three new staff members to the team. These passionate change-makers will be helping with programs, operations, and communications, allowing WFN to increase capacity and provide ever greater support and power to our network of gender justice leaders and advocates.

We are very excited to introduce you to the newest additions on the WFN team:

Jessica Dimas joined the team as our new Program Assistant at the end of December. Jessica is helping WFN build a stronger slate of programs and events that benefit the membership. Jessica brings with her a deep commitment to uplifting community voices and promoting inclusive practices—which she has honed through years of experience in social justice organizing, teaching, and advocacy.

Karla Michelle Rivera came on board as our new Operations Assistant in December. Karla is helping us provide additional services and support by keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Prior to joining WFN, Karla oversaw a myriad of administrative processes and systems in her role as office manager for the Solidago Foundation.

Ellen Moorhouse took on the role of Communications Director in February. Ellen is responsible for the leadership, direction, and administration of WFN’s communications strategies and programs. Before joining WFN, Ellen was the Deputy Communications Director for RepresentUs, the nation’s largest nonpartisan anti-corruption organization, where she worked to design and execute strategic communications for numerous state and national campaigns.

From research and education, to strategic-led initiatives and events, to advocacy and unifying a collective voice, Jessica, Karla, and Ellen are thrilled to be serving the WFN mission to provide gender justice leaders and advocates with a variety of tools to help them succeed.
