What our members are saying

Participation in WFN has given our organization to learn from peers across the country, apply their best practices and lessons learned as we have been growing our organizational capacity. I enjoy our Executive Leadership in person gatherings, the biannual meeting, as well as the weekly calls that have happened during the pandemic.

Being a part of an affinity group that strongly aligns with our mission is extremely valuable. NMW.O benefits from and appreciates the webinar content, the regional convenings and the big conference. When we are connected, we can build power as a funding community that is working toward systemic change.

It is an amazing network of like-minded funders and women, and the connections I have made through WFN initiatives and programming have been valuable. The annual conference is an amazing initiative that I have found very useful in learning from other members and disseminating information from our end.

I really like the annual summits at which I’ve co-presented twice on gender lens investing and philanthropy and investing for women and girls internationally. I welcome the opportunity to collaborate on issues such as gender lens investing (GLI) and sharing due diligence, deal flow, and legal costs on private GLI. I enjoy the newsletter and updates regarding women’s funds globally and what is going on in feminist philanthropy and GLI.

Learning from WFN’s leadership, leadership across the country, seeing other people’s work/focus, thinking about all the ways one can frame issues of gender equity as exemplified by all of WFN’s members is valuable to our work! The annual conference is wonderful – especially the networking and learning among like-minded/focused organizations.
