Julia advises grantmaking and member learning for WCA Foundation, a Signature Fund, whose funding decisions are directed by its volunteer membership. WCA Foundation is committed to investing in initiatives that support women in the Twin Cities metro. Julia also supports the Minneapolis Foundation’s giving circles and community advisory committees. Julia joined the Minneapolis Foundation in 2022, with more than 20 years of fundraising, communications, program development, and customer service experience, primarily in support of public libraries and public parks. Originally from Minnesota, Julia moved back to the Twin Cities in 2016, after living in Jackson, Wyoming, for over a decade. Julia received her B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
