Women’s Funding Network (WFN) is seeking nominations for the Board of Directors. Thank you for helping us identify strong candidates of any gender who will bring bold leadership and commitment to service to our organization’s mission: to provide strategies, research, and resources that support the critical agency and influence of women’s foundations and gender justice funders in the movement for equality, justice, and power for all.
WFN board members actively participate in our biennial conferences and regional meetings, and four (4) board meetings (one in-person and three Zoom conference calls) per year. In addition, board members provide active leadership on committees and taskforces, and have a responsibility to raise a portion of the annual budget through a give/get commitment of $5,000. This can take place in the form of a personal gift, or through help obtaining a gift. Board members serve a three-year term and are eligible for election to two consecutive terms.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 24, 2021. Term begins January 1, 2022.
