WomenStrong is a global, women-led, grantmaking, community-building, capacity-strengthening organization set up to support grassroots women’s organizations in their efforts to further progress in human rights and gender justice in urban communities worldwide.

WomenStrong offers a holistic model of support that is trust-based, flexible, and designed to strengthen their partners’ organizational and technical capacity. Their grants are unrestricted and without burdensome proposals or reporting requirements. This empowers their partners to focus more on their respective missions and to make decisions that best serve their communities.
