Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) is a nonprofit organization based on the Central Coast of California that helps women build financial stability and grow successful businesses. Since 1991, WEV has supported more than 20,000 people, primarily low-income women, by providing the tools, training, and support they need to grow their household income and support their families. WEV offers bilingual business training, one-on-one coaching, financial education, and access to capital, all designed for people who have been excluded from traditional economic systems. Programs are culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and offered in English and Spanish at little or no cost. Through their holistic approach, known as the WEV Way, they support the whole person in achieving economic mobility.
