The FMnPR was created by a diverse group of activist Puerto Rican women from the island and the diaspora as a dynamic new philanthropic entity to:

1) Promote transformative progress for Puerto Rico’s women, girls and gender-fluid individuals in the areas of economic security, safety, health and leadership; and
2) Be a voice for and galvanize and expand the field of feminist—particularly Latina—philanthropy.
