ELAS+ is Brazil’ first and only fund led by women. Since 2000, it has mobilized resources in the country and abroad to promote and strengthen the empowerment of women and trans people in Brazil. They invest in the actions of groups and organizations of black women, indigenous people, quilombolas, domestic workers, lesbians, bisexuals, trans women, women with disabilities, women from terreiro, slums and suburbs, the countryside, cities, forests, etc. Among their investment partners, they count with companies, foundations, international organizations and individuals, to fund and support the groups and organizations in their territories and communities. Their processes are all participatory, ensuring the quality and transparency of our operations. With a methodology of their own, ELAS+ enables the development of skills, providing financial support and encouraging transformations.
