AFSO is a 501(c)(3) international collective of professors and other education professional who teach classes and build a pathway forward for university women in Afghanistan. Through synchronous classes and funding for internet access, they expand the capacity of 800 students across Afghanistan in English, critical thinking, research, quantitative literacy, and writing so they may complete their education through degree-granting programs online or outside Afghanistan. AFSO’s ultimate goal is to prepare the future leaders of Afghanistan to restore their country when the regime changes.
