The members of WESC know that to improve our nation's economy, public policies must acknowledge the substantial barriers millions of women face in trying to land decent jobs that pay enough for them to support their families.
Federal, state and local policies need to ensure that more women have access to the education, training and works supports necessary to secure better jobs and move their families out of poverty.
Join us if you want to improve the lives of low-income women!
As a women's fund or a partner organization, you will have access to a host of resources that will help you advocate for policies and programs aimed at low-income women and their families. These include regular conference calls updating you on federal policy developments, e-mail alerts offering steps and tools for taking quick action; and a variety of other opportunities focused on bringing the voices of women's funds to the forefront of policy debate on women's economic security.
