Advocacy Resources for Public and Private Women's Funds

In partnership with women's fund experts and organizations like Alliance for Justice, Women's Funding Network offers Webinars, one-pagers and other resources to women's funds in regards to advocacy.  These resources outline legal limitations and best practices.  

A Future. Not A Past.

Members have the opportunity to particpate in the national replication of an initiative that was led by The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, A Future. Not A Past. A Future. Not A Past. is a campaign to eradicate the sexual exploitation of girls in United States.  Members have access to a comprehensive toolkit that includes best practices on building community partners, engaging in policy advocacy and much more.

Collective Action Tool Kits

Members have access to collective action tool kits for World Poverty Day and International Women's Day.  Toolkits include materials like op-ed templates, newsletter templates and e-blast templates that provide funds with both call to action messaging and ways to engage their community in collective action.

Women's Economic Security Campaign (WESC)

WESC was launched through the combined efforts and leadership of four regionally diverse member funds -- Chicago Foundation for Women, The Washington Area Women's Foundation, the Women's Foundation of California and the Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis. The campaign focuses on four key policy debates that could dramatically influence the employment picture for low-income women - and potentially move millions out of poverty. These include the green jobs components of climate change legislation, and reauthorizations of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) legislation, the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG), and the Workforce Investment Act.  Member funds have the opportunity to partcipate in a peer-led collective action advocacy campaig.
