The Women’s Fund of Central New York is a permanent endowment, established through the Central New York Community Foundation, to fund programs and projects that support women and girls. There are several specific goals, but the overall aim of the Fund is to enable women to become economically self-sufficient and achieve their full potential as members of the community.

Mission: 

To support, empower, and recognize the advancement and full participation of women and girls in Central New York through a permanent endowment fund.

Goals:

  • Identify and provide funding for causes that support and empower women and girls
  • Develop and recognize leadership in women and girls
  • Promote the status of women in the community at large
  • Establish in women a sense of identity and responsibility as philanthropists
