The Slovak-Czech Women’s Fund is unique as it operates in two neighboring countries related by their histories, cultures, and similar languages, as well as the status of women within their societies. Our goal is to ensure the resources to support the promotion of women’s rights and to implement the principle of gender equality in society. We support innovative yet functional solutions to long-term problems faced by women. We believe that women know their own situation and the issues they face the best and that it is they who can find the most effective ways to resolve urgent situations, as well as to develop long-term solutions.
