Jewish Women's Fund of Colorado

Jewish Women’s Fund of Colorado (JWFC), a donor-advised fund of Rose Community Foundation, is committed to helping women become effective catalysts for change in the public, private and social sectors.

JWFC employs a three-pronged strategy:

  • Engage Women: Convene women to discuss important and relevant issues affecting women and girls
  • Educate Women: Provide educational content, tools and resources to develop women’s financial acumen and leadership abilities
  • Empower Women: Identify opportunities for women to use their financial and intellectual assets to create positive social change for all women and girls
Mission:

The values that underpin Jewish Women’s Fund of Colorado are what make us unique.

We conduct our work in accordance with four core Jewish values:

  • Kavod - Respect, integrity, and being inclusive
  • Kavanah - Giving with intent
  • Gemilut chasadim - Pursuing actions and commitments beyond financial gifts
  • Dor L’dor - Passing on values, strengthening future generations, and recognizing the importance of both elders and youth

We approach our work with a gender lens: We consider the perspective and interests of women in the design, delivery, structure and evaluation of programs and organizations we fund or with whom we partner.
