Chester County Fund for Women & Girls

The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls was established in 1996 as a grantmaking and education fund to support nonprofit organizations that address the needs of women and girls in the county.

Mission: 

The Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls and all members of the Chester County community through grants and education. The Fund serves as a catalyst to enable women and girls to make decisions which effect positive change in their lives and those of other community members.

Programs: 

The Fund for Women and Girls provides the following programs:

  • an annual “Girls Make a Difference” leadership conference for high school Chester County girls;
  • an annual “Making a Difference” corporate education luncheon;
  • a “Voices” educational series focusing on the issues women and girls face in Chester County;
  • an annual “By Girls, For Girls” girls grantmaking program for high school Chester County girls;
  • and presents dozens of educational programs and technical assistance workshops to the Greater Philadelphia area.
