Along with new programs, we will continue to offer the following:

Smart Growth© consulting: Funds are eligible to apply for up to $3000 in consulting services. Upon approval, Women’s Funding Network will match participants with a consultant trained to use the Smart Growth© organizational development tools. The Smart Growth model and tools provide a way for staff and board to build a shared understanding of their organization’s strengths and weakness, while creating a plan for strategic growth and effectiveness. Users of the tools report that Smart Growth helped them shape funding priorities, communicate the importance of women’s philanthropy to donors and their communities and deepen impact. Smart Growth consulting is an excellent resource for organizations that are: experiencing changes in leadership; embarking upon a new strategic plan; interested in taking on new initiatives or campaigns; or sharpening a theory of change.

Making the Case™ training: Making the Case™ is a tool designed for member funds and grantee partners interested in developing, articulating, and evaluating social change projects. The database and automated reporting capability enables funds to quickly aggregate the results of their community investments. By using the tool, Women’s Funds are capturing stories of social change and documenting individual and collective impact. Funds are eligible to apply for training to prepare them and their grantee partners to use the evaluation tool.
