2009 Changing the Face of Philanthropy Luncheon Program

The Changing the Face of Philanthropy Award is given annually by the Women's Funding Network to individual women, funds and foundations that have made a significant contribution in the lives of women and girls and in the women's funding movement.  This year we celebrated Ambassador Swanee Hunt and the Donors and Funds of the Women Moving Millions campaign.

Presented at the 2009 Conference Investing in Women: Worldwide Return in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Women Moving Millions campaign aims to inspire gifts of a million dollars and above in support of women's funds across the globe.

The campaign was catalyzed by a bold and visionary group of women donors, sparked by the inspiration of Swanee and Helen La Kelly Hunt, who together contributed a $10 million 'spark' gift to the campaign.
