Fundraising Consulting

Member funds receive individual consulting opportunities on topics such as creating and implementing a development plan, individual donor cultivation, donor events and corporate sponsorships. 

Donor Retreats

Member funds have the opportunity to nominate major donors for inspiring retreats that help donors shape their vision of women-led philanthropy and their role in promoting the power of investing in women. 

Member Services

Women's Funding Network offers a wide range of products, services and events that benefit independent public women's foundations, private women's foundations and women's funds within community foundations or larger organizations.

Women's Funding Network promotes the sustainability of women's funds by helping them get on the fast track and stay there.  We offer capacity building services for our members in six strategic areas:

Civic Engagement

Advocacy Resources for Public and Private Women's Funds

In partnership with women's fund experts and organizations like Alliance for Justice, Women's Funding Network offers Webinars, one-pagers and other resources to women's funds in regards to advocacy.  These resources outline legal limitations and best practices.  

Organizational Development and Effectiveness

Information and Research

Members receive timely updates on current events through our daily news round-ups. Members also have access to reports and research published by women's funds and other experts in the field of social justice philanthropy through the member section of the Website.  

Building a Movement of Leaders

Members of Women's Funding Network have access to convenings and shared learnings to build capacity, forge deep connections and accelerate the impact of the women's funding movement.

Annual Conference

A Network-wide forum that unites hundreds of leaders in the women's funding movement to share knowledge and ignite new ideas.

Affinity Groups

Executive Directors by size and maturity of fund, Women's Fund staff by department and Women's Fund board members participate in peer-led groups that strengthen and grow indivdual leadership capacity and sustain the women's funding movement.  Affinity Group activities include retreats, webinars, conference calls and online discussison groups.

Women Moving Millions Exceeds Goal, Conference 2009 Highlights and Resources, The She Change Launches and more.

We Passed Our Goal -- Women Moving Millions Raises $176 Million!

We are thrilled to announce that Women Moving Millions, the historic campaign launched by Swanee and Helen LaKelly Hunt in partnership with our Network, has garnered astounding results – generating $176 million and far exceeding our original campaign goal of $150 million.

This groundbreaking initiative drew 100 women and men from the United States and around the world, who each committed $1 million or more to the 41 funds from our Network who participated in the campaign.
