Conference 2010 Plenary 3: Inclusion and Social Change

Equity is a core value of women’s funds and we demonstrate our commitment to a just world through inclusive grant-making. But do we always reflect the diversity of our communities in our leadership? As we move further into the 21st century we must push ourselves to have hard conversations around shifting power and privilege to instill more inclusive practices throughout our social justice movement.

Conference 2010 Workshop: Inclusion and Beyond -- Shifting and Sharing Power

Women's funds continue to grapple with how to move past the status quo to shift and share power in ways that facilitate both personal and organizational change. This workshop used stories of personal transformation as a starting point for conversations focused on examining the nuances of diversity and inclusion across different contexts to look at what's next for individuals and institutions.
