The Women's Fund exists to encourage the advancement and full participation of women and girls in society by promoting their full range of choices and to fund projects in the community which:
Foster an impact on attitudes and actions that benefit women and girls
Promote opportunity, health and self-sufficiency for women
Encourage women and girls to develop as philanthropists
In November 2004, the Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Community Foundation established the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. Distributions from the Fund will be directed toward support of programs and projects that benefit women and girls in Waukesha County.
The Women's Fund, established 2004, is a permanent endowment under the administration of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation. The Women's Fund provides opportunities for donors to create, promote, and support programs, that help Fond du Lac area women and girls manage and enhance their lives.
The Women's Fund is a social change grantmaker and has made investments in cutting-edge programs at more than 100 community-based agencies through the support of more than 3,200 donors and 200 volunteers. We are the first and largest permanent resource in Wisconsin dedicated exclusively to funding and advocacy for the emerging needs of women and girls.

Today, the Women’s Fund is a leading nonprofit organization in our region focused solely on improving the lives of women and girls. We achieve our mission through making grants to nonprofit organizations and by educating our community regarding issues that affect women and girls.
The Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation was established in 1998 to create measurable social change in the lives of women in Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
