Recycle Your Used Cell Phone

___________________________________________________________________________

Download posters and fact sheets to find out how recycling your phone helps improve women's lives!

The Women’s Funding Network is recycling cell phones to:

  • Support programs that lift women and families out of poverty;
  • Help support women-led solutions to the most pressing global issues from
    climate change to economic security; and
  • Provide 911 emergency phones for senior citizens and people at risk.

How It Works:

  • Roughly 60 percent of cell phones sent in will be refurbished and resold. A percentage of the
    revenue generated from resold phones is invested in programs that lift women and families out of poverty.
  • A portion of the phones not sold will be programmed to dial 911 and donated to domestic
    violence survivors, elders and low-income people at risk for use in emergencies.
  • The remaining cell phones are recycled according to EPA standards.

Psychologist, philanthropist, and family advocate Cheryl Saban, Ph.D., is on a mission! What is Your Self-Worth? is a 'call to action' for women around the world to take a look at how society perceives them, how they perceive themselves, and how women can adopt a personal mind-set (choosing happiness). You can form new habits! You can find your voice! Unlearn a perceived lack of control over your life.

"This is an important and must read book because it combines the task of each woman individually claiming her own self-worth and positioning this work as the heart and soul of creating safe and healthy communities. It is both a self-help manual on finding our voices as well as a manifesto on how to change the world for generations to come."

-- Women's Funding Network President and CEO Chris Grumm
