A Future. Not A Past. [1] The sexual exploitation of girls within the United States is an epidemic issue that has garnered little attention. It is estimated that up to 200,000 U.S. born children are trafficked within the United States, the majority whom are girls who are trafficked for the sexual exploitation. Read more about the issue of child sexual exploitation here. [1] Building on the work pioneered by A Future. Not A Past. (AFNAP), an initiative pioneered by The Atlanta Women’s Foundation, Women’s Funding Network will lead a national replication of this model among women funds. The goal of the campaign is to eradicate the sexual exploitation of girls in United States. Read more about the initiative here. [1]
