Shalini Nataraj
Shalini Nataraj is a passionate advocate, activist and speaker who has devoted her life to advancing women’s rights. As Vice President of Programs at the Global Fund for Women, she is responsible for disbursing over $8 million annually to women-led organizations around the world. She has worked for over 20 years in the human rights and social justice fields, internationally as well as in the United States. Shalini came to the Global Fund for Women from the Reebok Human Rights Award Programs, where she served as Associate Director of the Reebok Human Rights Awards Program. A sought after speaker, Shalini has inspired a wide range of audiences at universities such as MIT, Wellesley and Harvard on the importance of human rights. She has been featured on panels at the Human Rights and Development Rights Group and Grantmakers Without Borders, and she has been interviewed for radio and television broadcasts in Boston.
