Simply put, domestic trafficking of children is a business. Like any other business, the laws of supply and demand apply. Independent research commissioned by “A Future.     • Craigslist: ads posted here featuring adolescent females yield three times the transactions per ad than its closest competitor, Backpage1
    • 47%: Number of callers who wanted to continue with transaction despite three warnings about the girl’s age1
    • 7,200: Estimated number of men who knowingly or unknowingly pay for sex with adolescent females each month in Georgia1
    • 28,000: Number of men who knowingly or unknowingly pay for sex with adolescent females each year1
    • 10,000: Number of men in the 28,000 above who knowingly or unknowingly pay for sex with adolescent females multiple time per year1
